Description

My parents, brother, and I immigrated to the Bronx in 1990 when I was just 6 years old. At the age of 17, I spent the entire summer volunteering on a City Council campaign. At 18, I was hired as an assistant to a Chief of Staff, becoming one of the youngest staffers in the City Council. After following Council Member Serrano to the State Senate, I decided to venture into the business world.

Following a short stint as a loan officer, property manager, and restaurant manager, I made another life-changing decision to join the United States Coast Guard. In just 4 years of active duty, I rose through the ranks and earned numerous awards and recognitions.

After my active duty obligation, I transitioned into the reserve component of the Coast Guard and immediately enrolled in Monroe College majoring in Business and Finance. In December 2018, I completed my undergraduate degree, Cum Laude.

In 2016, my wife and I launched Selfie Creations, a premier photo booth service for all occasions and events. Before March 2020, their business was generating an average of 8 events a month. Their clients have included numerous celebrities, financial institutions, non-for-profits, educational institutions, and various NYS elected officials.

Upon Graduation, I was faced with a predicament - focus my energy on our small business or decide on a career in business and finance. After numerous interviews, I landed with Northwestern Mutual, a fortune 500 company that provides a wide range of financial services to more than 4.6 million people. At Northwestern Mutual, I have been a strong proponent of bringing the message and solution of financial literacy, generation wealth-building, strategic saving methods, and the importance of financial planning.

Never forgetting where I came from and always looking for ways to contribute to my community and make a difference, I have structured my practice to focus on high income earners as well as those earning less than 100k a year, while unilaterally providing the same level of service regardless of economic, social, or immigration status.

My never-ending support of women’s equality was instilled in him by his parents who always taught him to treat everyone the same and his motivation to take action against inequality comes from his teenage daughters.
