Successful applicants will receive funding that can be used for various aspects of their cultural programs, including but not limited to supplies, promotion, and operational expenses. - Events and programs must take place within the City of Palm Coast.
- Applications must be led by an active nonprofit Florida corporation registered with the Florida Division of Corporations.
- Preference is given to organizations with a principal address in Flagler County.
- Only nonprofit organizations in the fields of arts, culture, history, humanities, or heritage with documented 501(c)(3) status may apply.
- For-profit businesses located in Flagler County may apply in partnership with a local nonprofit to fund eligible cultural events.
- Applications must be based solely on the event expense budget. A single application may cover multiple events.
- All programs, services, and events must be open to the public and benefit Flagler County residents.
- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to match the requested grant amount dollar-for-dollar.
- In-kind contributions can count toward up to 30% of the required match.
- Applicants must submit their most recently filed IRS Form 990, 990EZ, or 990 postcard.
- Organizations that have not fulfilled past grant obligations with FC3, the City of Palm Coast, or Flagler County are not eligible.
- Additional Requirements by Organization Revenue
- Organizations with less than $100,000 in revenue (based on the most recently filed IRS form):
- Must be registered as an active nonprofit Florida corporation for at least one year.
- Must have held 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in good standing for at least one year.
- Must have completed one full season of programming in Flagler County within the last 12 months.
- Organizations with more than $100,000 in revenue (based on IRS Form 990, Part I, Line 12 or IRS Form 990EZ, Part I, Line 9):
- Must be registered as an active nonprofit Florida corporation for at least two years.
- Must have held 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in good standing for at least two years.
- Must have completed two full seasons of programming in Flagler County within the last 24 months.
