About The Grant

The Extreme Small Business Makeover and Grant Program is designed to uplift small businesses in Long Beach, California by providing essential financial support and resources. BizCare staff will provide in-person technical assistance with the application process at the Long Beach Workforce Innovation Network Adult Career Services site (4811 Airport Plaza Dr.) on the following dates: 

Tuesday, February 11 – 1-4 pm
Thursday, February 13- 8-11 am
Thursday, February 20- 1-4 pm
Thursday, February 27- 1-4 pm
Thursday, March 6- 8-11 am
Thursday, March 13- 8-11 am
Thursday, March 20- 8-11 am

Also, BizCare staff will provide in-person technical assistance at Michelle Obama Library on Tuesday, March 18- 1-4pm.

    • Must have a City of Long Beach business license. The business must hold an active or delinquent license. Businesses that have closed or cancelled their licenses are not eligible for the program.
    • Must be currently open and active for business.
    • Must earn no more than $5 million in annual gross revenue.
    • Corporations, limited liability companies and limited partnerships must have an “ACTIVE” status with the California Secretary of State.
