South Florida is well represented in Florida’s Space industry.
Florida Venture Forum has selected 20 early-stage companies to present at its 2021 Aerospace Innovation & Tech Forum, taking place virtually on Thursday. Six of the companies are from South Florida, just as many as from the Space Coast and Central Florida. Four winning companies will split a prize pool of $100,000, courtesy of Space Florida.
In addition to 12 Florida-based companies, and some from other parts of the US, startups from Israel, Ireland, The UK and Germany will also be presenting to the audience of investors and aerospace industry leaders. Here are the companies from South Florida (descriptions provided by Florida Venture Forum.
AerLogs, Delray Beach(www.aerlogs.com/), their mission is to make advanced technology historically reserved for large corporations available to small and medium sized businesses. Aircraft Maintenance Records (AMRs) are a crucial part of the Aviation Industry not only for safety, but also for determining the value of an asset. A single shop visit for a commercial jet engine can produce over 6,000 pages of AMR, all of which need to scanned, organized, audited, and sent to the customer.
Doroni, Parkland(www.doroni.io), since 2016, their multi-disciplinary team has been leveraging cutting-edge technologies to develop a revolutionary new eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) platform with semi-autonomous capability that any adult can operate, called the Doroni flying car.
ESpace Networks, Miami (www.espacenetworks.io), is building a digital marketplace for Satcom services where supply can be matched with demand in the most optimal way. Their marketplace will bring together satcom users and satcom operators. The company’s solution supports the entire life cycle from procurement, provisioning through ongoing operations.
Purivy, Plantationis developing a patent pending UVC sanitation case specifically designed to sanitizes face masks as well as other high touch items. They provide you with a quick and portable solution to ensure your PPE is effectively sanitized.

Undefined Technologies, Doral (www.undefinedtechnologies.com/), is a start-up company determined in mitigating the environmental impact from noise generated by commercial cargo drones. Using the break-thru technology Air Tantrum™ the company is focused in transforming the field of urban drone delivery using a silent propulsion technology.
